Knit One Purl Two

Fishy  By Delicious Stitches

This cute fishy is knit in the round from the tip of the nose to the end of the back tail.  Then stitches are picked up along the top and sides in order to knit the fins. The entire fishy is then felted in the washer machine. This would make a great gift for a little one or for any fish lover in your life.

Tail

Using your 3rd needle k3 from your 1st needle, using your empty needle knit remaining sts on your 1st needle and knit all but the last 2 sts on your 2nd needle, k last 2 sts together.

You now have 2 needles with 10 sts on each as shown in the picture below.

You will now stuff the body of the fish and then we will continue making the tail. Do not stuff the fish too much, you should put just enough stuffing to make sure that it keeps its shape. If you stuff it to much the yarn will not be able to shrink when you felt it. After you are done stuffing it you will continue knitting the tail.
